RAYA provides a platform for outstanding applications of robotics and artificial intelligence in pharmaceutical production and laboratory automation, share best practices, and facilitate an exchange on the challenges and opportunities of digitalization. The award recognizes projects that contribute significantly to increasing efficiency, improving quality, and driving innovation in the pharmaceutical environment.

At the kind invitation of NovoNordisk, this year's event took place from September 24 to 26, 2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark, following on from Roche in Kaiseraugst, Switzerland, in 2024.

The event featured presentations, workshops, and live demonstrations and brought together around 170 industry experts, executives, and specialists from international pharmaceutical companies. Awards were presented in ten categories, including innovative concepts, assembly, logistics, quality assurance, and advances in robot software.
